This vegan pate is made out of mushrooms, walnuts, oats and bunch of herbs and spices. It’s easy to prepare and makes a delicious snack or fancy appetizer.

Ingredients:

 

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 cup onion, diced

  • 2 cups mushrooms, diced 

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp pepper

  • ¼ tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp cumin

  • ½ tsp parsley, dry

  • ½ tsp chilli

  • ¼ tsp thyme

  • 1 cup walnuts

  • 2 tbsp oat flour



Vegan Mushroom Pate

Directions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan. Once hot add diced onions to it and saute for 5 minutes. 

  2. Add diced mushrooms and saute for another 3 minutes.

  3. Add minced garlic and all spices (salt, pepper, paprika, cumin, parsley, chili, thyme) and saute for 1 minutes. Set aside and let it cool.

  4. Once cool add the vegetables to a food processor along with walnuts and oat flour. Pulse a few times until desired consistency is reached.
