Potatoes are an incredibly versatile root vegetable. If prepared correctly they can be an excellent source of nutrients. The skin itself contains lots of fiber. These fries are soft on the inside and crispy on the outside and can be baked longer or shorter depending on personal preferences.

Ingredients:

  • 6 potatoes

  • 2 tbsp avocado oil

  • salt and pepper

Baked Potato Fries

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 450*F (230*C).

  2. Wash potatoes thoroughly and then cut into fry shapes. Make sure all fries about the same thickness.

  3. Take a stainless steel baking sheet and coat it with the oil. Transfer potatoes on the sheet pan in one layer.

  4. Put the baking dish with the potatoes in the oven for 30 min.

  5. Once fully baked sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Notes:

Depending on the thickness of the potatoes it may take shorter or longer to bake the potatoes. Watch them while they are in the oven and take them out when they look good enough.
