If you are looking for a no added sugar jam substitute, this apricot jam recipe is perfect. It’s sweetened with apricots only. The dried apricots are sweet enough so no other sugars are added. It’s such an easy apricot jam recipe which is perfect for our little ones. Dried apricots have lots of nutrients like potassium, magnesium, iron, copper, vitamin A, vitamin B, protein and lots of other nutrients. Read on to find out how to make apricot jam.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup dried apricots

  • ½ cup water

Directions:

  1. Add dried apricots and water to a pot and bring to a boil. 

  2. Once boiling immediately remove pot from the burner and cover with a lid. 

  3. Let it sit for 5 minutes. 

  4. Put everything in a blender and blend until you have a smooth jam. 

  5. Add more water if you like a thinner consistency.
